Don't you just love the way it's so trendy, so all the rage to carry around a tiny tea-cup dog in your LV bag and dress him/her in itty bitty Prada fashions and cover them in diamonds? I know Anna Wintour, my own dog, just loves getting groomed to hit to town with me. You should see her decked out in her mini Juicy Couture sweats and ribbons around her tail. Not to mention her OPI painted toe-nails.

But please- someone!- send a memo to Rhona Mitra. (who got her big break on Party of Five playing Bailey's girlfriend, remember?) Rhona is about to give herself a hernia and a slipped disc carrying around that tubby little pig. It just defeats the purpose of being chic and cute when you are hoisting a big, angry animal on your hip.

To be carried in a DESIGNER BAG, Rhona! Mini animals! Portable! Please, do I have to spell it out for you? CHIHUAHUA. And you must give it a cute name like Dolce or Gabbana or Donatella. Poodle and maltese- acceptable but not preferred. Didn't you receive a copy of my recently published debut masterpiece entitled, "Etiquette Rules in Hollywood- Make Mine Miu Miu" ?

It is just a pet, and not every move of a celebrity should fit into your imaginery Etiquette, especially choice of a pet! Anonymous said...: Heloooooo???? Do you see a purse. doggy is on the leash. She probably picked him up for a photo shoot or because of the crowd around in order to comfort him. Doberman could take care of himself in a crowd, but pugs are slow dogs with short legs. @ 10:16 AM GMT

I LOVE my 5 dogs and will cart one or 2 of them to a park or to a friend's house where they will be able to play outside with other dogs, but what is up with bringing them everywhere? Are they like security blankets? But honestly, it's a nuissance and can't be that fun for most animals. Paris Hilton started this when she was like 16. Then you could save the cute bags for important stuff, like lipgloss and hairspray and doggy treats. We'd all be a lot calmer and happier if we had our little children in fur coats with us more often. Frenchies are very needy and thrive on lots of affection, so I'm sure her beautiful dog loves going everywhere with her, despite the look on his face. LOL. @ 3:36 AM GMT+1
